The Adapted Music class is designed to
focus on individual abilities by providing a Bonjour, Hola, and Buongiorno!
sense of security and success in music
making, whether it be “hands-on” playing of Welcome to the wonderful language elective
instruments, body movement, or singing. that incorporates language, culture, and
cuisine! This course will introduce basic
greetings, cultural awareness, and food
Adapted Physical samplings from French, Spanish, and Italian

Education speaking regions of the world. Students will
speak, listen, and participate daily with their
Grades 9-12 teacher and peers. The instruction will offer

The Adapted Physical Education program is Merci, Gracias, et Grazie
designed to accommodate students by using
the least restrictive environment. The
behavior objectives are written to be
challenging yet attainable by each individual
student. The activities and sports are those
found in the regular curriculum: leisure-
time activities, team sports, individual
activities, and a host of fitness activities.
Because of the nature of the students, the
team sports are quite modified and often
reduced to one-on-one or two-on-two
experiences.
