ANTHONY S. CACCIOLA SCHOLARSHIP
Presented by the Cacciola Family
Anthony S. Cacciola was born on November 22, 1933. He was a graduate of Immaculate Conception School, Stepinac High School and Alfred University. He was also a veteran of the Korean War. Anthony was a lifelong resident of the Village of Tuckahoe. He and his wife Marie had 5 children, all graduates of Eastchester High School. Anthony was a Trustee for the Village of Tuckahoe. He also served the Village as Director of Urban Renewal, Superintendent of Public Works and as a Commissioner on the Tuckahoe Housing Authority. His love and dedication for the Village of Tuckahoe was only surpassed by the love he had for his family. He took pride in his civic duty and would help the Village of Tuckahoe in any capacity to the benefit of all the residents.
His favorite hobby was golf. As a young boy, he would caddy at Leewood Country Club. As he grew older, he developed a love for the game and became an outstanding golfer.
Based upon our father’s love for his community and the game of golf, the Cacciola Family wishes to honor an Eastchester High School athlete who has shown a dedication to their community, school and team.
