* This means that the log may also be used for the same purpose or burnt DEDICATION
into ashes one day. Thus, this proverb wants to show us that. At times, it is out of
ignorance that we make fun of others. This book is dedicated to Dr. Edward Ngmenyuor Gyader and his wife, Mrs.
Prudence Gyader and all who have been influential to me in my education
        * Do not make fun of people you have the same destiny with.
                                                                                            up to this stage.
        1. LITTLE BEGINNINGS
12.a. Kune kune ni sebru. The small movement of the body is dancing.

        * The English equivalence of this proverb is “little drops of water makes a
mighty ocean”. Minor misdemeanor if not checked may lead to committing of
major crimes. Little beginnings often have big endings.

        * Biel biel pale molu wuo. Accumulation of little things makes the skin bag
        of water-buck full.

        * Biel biel pale molu wuo. Accumulation of little things makes the skin bag
        of water-buck full.

        * Nifaa sa yaa. A useless person (relative) is better than a grave.

        * You can send the person but not the grave. So, people have value in
        society.

        * Nobody is completely useless in society. Each individual can do
something in hi situation and his social usefulness depends on what he can do
        successfully.

13.b. Da-ngma faa mi kog ne kyoone. A useless log can support sheanuts.

        * A “useless log” here refers to a person we think is useless.

        * This proverb may be used when a person who is considered useless is
called upon to play a needed role in society. It is thus in a complimentary sense.
So, we must know and respect the true worth of people so tat we do not devalue
        them.
