• Spearhead general due diligence strategies to securing and protect collateral including property abandonment, in substance
foreclosures, mortgagee in possession, bids strategies, auctions, and deeds in lieu.
• Searching and establishing action plans for investments and the management and administration of potential distressed assets
consistent with established corporate governance and protocols. Duties included coordinating internal approvals, securing
assets, and property management. Duties also included management of external matters with counties or municipalities, with
zoning, code violations or taxes. Responsibility for expense’s management including, coordination with finance, legal,
accounting and procurement with bank REO’s. Duties including budgeting, expense management, construction, vendor
management and payments in compliance with partnership set policy. Responsible for valuations including any mark to
market adjustments consistent with partnership set policy. Order and review BPO's, Property Inspections, Repair Bids,
maintenance & winterization. Review and approve list price and make recommendations to clients. Coordinate closing of
REO’s and ensure that when proceeds are received they are applied in accordance with client requirements. Monitor accounts
for price reductions and broker reassignments in accordance with client requirements.
• Responsible for all related reconciliations and internal control including, control of cash, deposit management, and general
ledger reconciliations. Additional duties included the responsibility for compliance with internal and external regulatory
statutes. Responsible for coordination of board meetings and loss mitigation/workout reporting.
• Secured major accounts comprising 75% of total revenues such as FDIC, Deloitte & Touché, DLJ, Wells Fargo, Comps Inc.,
and the NYC Law Dept...
• Managed an internal staff of 30 team members and an external team of 250 contractors.
• Hosted morning AM Radio Show entitled “The Real Estate Financial Report” for 1 year.
• Identified opportunities, structured partnerships and captured Emerging Business which Led to action driven accelerated
growth resulting in a 200% gain in annual revenues for five solid years.
