A. State Property Tax Appeal Boards
Collection of property taxes is generally a function of a state's Department of
Revenue. Each Department of Revenue will have its own offices and procedures
set up for the purpose of discussing and appealing property tax assessments.
Property tax assessment forms typically indicate who or what office you should
contact if you believe your assessment is incorrect; if not, contact the state
Department of Revenue directly.
