Industrial Visit to Vita Milk Plant-

The students of B. tech 5 , Diploma 3 and 5
Semester Civil Engineering got an opportunity
to visit VITA Milk Plant-Ambala, for an
educational tour on 16 September, 2019. The
th
process of milk manufacturing was also
elucidated to the students. They were also
informed about the separation of cream from
milk, process of making curd and cheese. The
students also witnessed the waste water
treatment tank at the site that is used to collect
waste water.
Industrial Visit in 220kv Sub-
Station
Chitkara college of Applied Engineering
organized an industrial visit in 220 Kv sub-
station in Banur on 29 August 2019 for B.E
rd
th
electrical 5 semester, Diploma Electrical 3
and 5 semester students. This visit was
th
organized as the students were studying
transmission and Distribution system in power
system which is instrumental in practical
demonstration of complete transmission
components and distribution system leads by
HT and LT panel. Both the groups were taken
care of by JE and linemen of PSTCL 220KV
sub-station Banur. After completing the visit,
questioning session was organized by Junior
Engineer Ms. Priyanka Saini, which solved
queries of students.
