The St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site at Johnson Farm
is one of the most important discoveries in early Jurassic history. This world-class dinosaur site includes fossilized bones and rare footprints of dinosaurs and other ancient animals. It has the world’s largest collection of dinosaur swim tracks and one of only two tracks of a Theropod Dinosaur. Discovered in 2000 by Sheldon Johnson while he was working on his farm, it has quickly become a must-see for anyone interested in dinosaurs, geology, and the ancient Jurassic world. Small fee.

The Downtown Farmers Market at Ancestor Square is a volunteer community project to promote the downtown area as well as promoting organic gardening and homemade crafts and goods. The Market is held every Saturday morning from 8am to noon in the Courtyard at Ancestor Square.
The Market begins on Mother’s Day weekend and continues through the end of October.

This annual world-class international senior sporting event, hosts over 10,500 athletes from 20 countries. The Games provide over 30 sports from basketball to triathlon, and no pre-qualifying is necessary. Open to men and women ages 50+, the Games offer competition, entertainment, and social activities, as well as important health screenings.
The Huntsman World Senior Games were founded in 1987 by Daisy and John H. Morgan, Jr., owners of the Hilton Inn, with the goal of promoting peace, health, and friendship through athletic competition. Jon M. Huntsman, Chairman of the Board of the Huntsman Corporation, also recognized the Games’ value in fostering lifetime fitness and became its principal sponsor in 1989. The great success of the Games is the result of thousands of volunteers and scores of sponsors who provide financial and other support.
