Glen Canyon National Recreation Area
includes Lake Powell, which was formed by the Glen Canyon Dam and straddles the Utah and Arizona state lines. It’s the 2nd largest man-made lake in North America. The lake boasts 1,960 miles of shoreline and the Rainbow Bridge National Monument, the world’s largest rock span arch. Activities include all water sports, hiking, biking, fishing, camping, golf, the Powell Museum, and much more. Multiple marinas and boat launch ramps are available.
