COUNTY OF MONTEREY TELEWORK PROGRAM TRAINING
The Human Resources Department has launched the County of Monterey
Telework Training. Please continue to learn more about how to access the
Telework Policy, Administrative Procedure, and County of Monterey
Telework Agreement Form.
2024 CASH OUT/BUY BACK
The enrollment period to elect to cash out accrued leave began on
November 1st and will last for the entire month of November, ending on
November 30th at midnight. During this enrollment period, employees may
use the ESS wizard to elect the amount of annual leave, PTO, or vacation
that they would like to cash out the following year.

The Catastrophic Leave Donation Program aims to provide support to
County employees facing catastrophic illnesses or those who are caring for
a family member in a similar situation.
UPDATED MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
After every contract negotiation cycle with the various employee groups, the
Human Resources Department works with union representatives to update the
Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for each bargaining unit. These MOUs
are made available on the Human Resources Department Labor Relations
website.
