And without a spiritual nature there can be no Heaven after death. So we must ask three question:
Is God perfect or imperfect? ….. Of course …He is “perfect”
Is Heaven perfect or imperfect? …. Of course …it is “perfect”
Are people perfect or imperfect? ….. Of course… we are imperfect”
The Bible says… “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” (Rom. 3:23)
If you (or I)… being imperfect, were admitted into Heaven… which is perfect, we would ruin it forever.
Being born again gives us forgiveness of sin, new eternal life in Christ, and the promise of a home in
Heaven. But people who don’t recognize their lostness continue living their sinful lives without God and
without seeing their need for any kind of help for their spiritual handicap.
How do we fix the “Lostness” problem?
“
It’s easy…..Trust Christ and receive Him as your Savior. But as many as received him, to them gave he
power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” (John 1:12)
How does a person receive Christ? The Bible says you must believe that Jesus is God’s Son who came to
give His life for you. He paid the penalty for your sin. By trusting in what He did for you, and declaring
Him as your Lord and Savior, you, by faith, receive Christ in salvation. “For God so loved the world, that
he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
(ESV)
How do you know you have been born again? … “And this is the record that God hath given us eternal
life. This life is in His Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not
life.” I John 5:11, 12
