Activity: The goal of preaching is to share with others what God says about a topic in full
disclosure and as accurately as possible. God revealed what He wants us to know in His Word.
Every word is God-breathed. As preachers, we need to avoid getting in God’s way by
interjecting our own thoughts into a passage rather than God’s. How are you tempted to do
this as you prepare a lesson or sermon each week?
