Departments of Biochemistry and Zoology organized a work shop on Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)

on 28/03/2024 in the Department of Zoology under the Presidentship of Sri. G.L.N.Prasad, in charge,
department of Zoology Govt.College(A), Anantapuramu, in association with Youth Red Cross unit, district
branch, Ananthapuramu.
G. Mohan Krishna , Coordinator and secretary IRCS, District branch was invited as resource person.
Dr.P.Giridhar, Coordinator, RRC introduced the resource person. Sri. G.L.N.Prasad sir elucidated the need of
first aid during emergencies. Resource person clearly explained the process of CPR step by step and demon-

strated the same with the aid of manikin. Staff and Students practiced CPR with the aid of manikin.
B.Nagajyothirami, lecturer in charge, Dept. of Biochemistry expressed the importance of CPR with examples.
Dr. D.Aruna kumari, Lecturer in Zoology, Dr. B.Sreedevi, Lecturer in Zoology, K.Vanaja, lecturer in Zoology,
K. Ruhinaz, lecturer in Zoology, M.Saleemuddin, lecturer in Zoology, K. Archana, Guest faculty, Dept.of Bio-
Chemistry and 56 students have actively participated in this programme.

At the end of the program feedback is given by the students.
