Age Cold Weather Looks

Cold weather looks would be worn
on top of warm weather looks.
Hide coat
Made from animal skin, the hairs would be
cleaned but maintained for warmth.
Hide boots
Made from treated skins. The sole would be soaked in
fat and left to harden. The fur would be on the inside of
the shoe for warmth. The main part of the shoe would
have the fur on the outside. The shoes were wrapped in
a form of string made from thin strips of braided tree
bark.
The shoes would be stuffed with grass and straw for
warmth.
