During an annual inspection in 2013, several shear cracks approximately
0.30 mm wide were observed in the RC beams at the second floor under
normal operating conditions. This was attributed to the poor in-situ concrete
strength, which was found to be lower than the design value, along with an
increased live load on the second floor.
