Notes: S8M series shocks have a 17.9" approximate mounting height, but
may be used to replace 9" stroke shock absorbers in most applications.
On four-bar late models and modifieds that hyper extend the left rear
shock on corner exit, a S9Z series may be required to prevent the shock XVS SERIES “KIT FORM”
from “topping” out. Lengths include rod ends measured center-to-center.
STEEL SHOCK ABSORBERS
XVS Series shock absorbers are also offered in kit form, requiring
valving and filling prior to use.

When changing shocks over to use the optional Schrader valve, care must be 7" XVS

by slowly loosening the plug until you no longer hear gas escaping. The plug BILXVS-KIT-9L 9" XVS Linear Shock 23.76" 15.24" 9"
may then be removed safely. * Shock kit includes base valve.
