Socio-economic effects
around the school.
Socio-economic issues that are affecting the
learners in this surrounding include the crime rate of
the community residents who are unemployed and
tend to make a living by learners selling drugs to the
learners outside the premises and inside, having
other learners to sell for them. Learners in the
school have textbooks which makes it easier for the
teacher but in most days, they leave them at home.
Some classes do not have any charts or posters but
the other classrooms setting are very beautiful for
group works, individual work and also for the ability
of a teacher to move around.
