Adding to your stories will help boost engagement and grow your following. This is a good place to share events and other people's posts relating to play in your region.
To keep your follower to following ratio down on Instagram, comment on and like posts of public accounts in your community without following them. This will make them aware of your account and help grow your following. Follow local business accounts and Town Recreation Accounts. Doing so will help you learn of events and new happenings in your area.
You can also follow hashtags. Following hashtags of towns in you region (ex. #buffalony) can help with leads. Similarly, using these hashtags in your Instagram posts will help your post get seen by more people.
Consider partnering with a local business for a giveaway. Require participants to follow your page and the partner's page to grow each others following.
