Human Resources:
1. Light of Truth Center, prohibits discrimination in any work related decision on the basis of
race, color, national origin, religion, sex, physical or mental disability, ancestry, marital
status, age, sexual orientation, citizenship, or status as a covered veteran.
2. The organization is committed to providing equal employment opportunity in a work
environment where each staff member is treated with fairness, dignity, and respect.
3. Personnel will comply with all applicable federal and state antitrust laws.
4. Personnel shall not agree with a competitor to artificially set prices or salaries, divide
markets, restrict service output, block new competitors from the market, or share pricing
information that is not normally available to the public.
5. The Light of truth Center, Inc. provides resources and education for staff to stay current in
the field in order to demonstrate program strategies and interventions based evidenced based
practices.
6. Staff are required to take scheduled trainings whether in house, online trainings or external
trainings.
7. Staff are required to take continuing education training related to their profession.
Organizational Fundraising
1. The oversight of a well-managed organizational fundraising effort are in place to meet the
mission of the Light of Truth Center, Inc. and will be under the direction of the board of
directors.
2. All donations solicited on behalf of the organization shall be used to further LTC’s mission
and follow policies and procedures.
3. Light of Truth Center, staff will not accept, for themselves or for the organization, anything
of value in exchange for referrals of business or the referral of participants or service
4. Light of Truth Center, Inc. believes in the importance of ethical practices within the
organization.
5. Any staff who reports waste, fraud, abuse or any other questionable practices will not be
subject to reprisal. The board of directors will provide assurance and oversight that there are
no adverse actions. (See full policy)
Prohibition of Waste
1. Staff and the governing body shall be responsible for reporting suspected waste, fraud, abuse or wrong doing of any kind.
2. Allegations are reviewed in a timely manner and appropriate action is taken if deemed necessary.
3. Those who report suspected abuse, fraud, waste, or wrong doing are protected under the whistle
blower policy.
Peer Workforce:
1. Light of Truth Center peer workforce will adhere to all recovery coach ethical codes and guidelines. Peers will maintain at all times clear lines between recovery and clinical processes.
Clinical Practices:
1. Staff will adhere to all professional codes of conduct and ethical standards. As part of
new employee orientation, staff will read the organization’s Code of Conduct and
demonstrate knowledge of the guidelines.
2. Light of Truth Center, will provide quality behavioral health care in a manner that is
appropriate, determined to be necessary, efficient, and effective.
