  What will I learn?
The course is delivered through a mixture of practical, theoretical and work-related tasks and activities where you get the chance to study many different aspects of all the public services, meet real life staff and officers, ask questions and get the advice and support you need to be able to join them. The subjects you will study are interesting and fun and will enable you to really excel in both academic and practical ability. You will learn about:
• employment opportunities
• teamwork skills
• expedition skills
• security in the services
• crime and its effects
• health and fitness
• emergency responses to incidents
In this safe and supportive environment, you will discover things about yourself that you never knew existed!
As part of the course you will also study English and Maths to develop your employability skills.
How will I be assessed?
The course is assessed continually throughout the year by coursework, and there will also be an exam for Unit 1.
