He’s come a long way since his trainee chef days at the Red Lion, the 17th century coaching inn that his parents bought when they moved here from Barcelona.
Not satisfied with a suc- cessful drinks company, Glo- bal Brands, under his belt, Steve’s dream was always to own and run a luxury four- star hotel and in 2010 this dream came into fruition. Ca- sa’s doors opened for business in November 2010 and Steve has not looked back since, so much so that when his child- hood home Peak Edge Hotel was up for sale last year, Steve promptly purchased it.
Casa Hotel was now Casa Hotels and Steve’s home of Walton Lodge Farm became and still is the primary source for the food produce at both properties. Between them, the hotel group employs over 150 staff members from the local area and whom are all key to the success of Casa Group.
