On another issue, the news
each day gets to be a bit

overwhelming. Some new
issue surfaces every day it
seems. It is hard to know what

is true and what is not. The
numbers of investigations are

mounting to staggering
numbers. And these

investigations move slowly.

One of the things I have heard several times, is that some of our fundamental

branches of government are at stake. And when I hear that my first thoughts
take me to the prophecies concerning this country. America was lamblike, to be

sure, in many ways. Changes have taken place and continue to. And it may get to
looking so bad that there will be calls for some kind of reforms in our land. So we

see another piece to the “last day events” puzzle being put into place. Oh, how
rapid things could pounce upon us. Well, we know they will be rapid, we just

don’t know how soon they will start. To be sure, we are definitely moving closer.

It has been brought to my

attention that a new book
has come out within our

church addressing the issue
of social justice. It is a look at

what Ellen White has to say
about this issue and expands
on it in relation to the world

we live in today. I have not
read this book yet, but I think it could really be a good book. But I would also

read it with extreme caution. We must live good honest social lives doing all the
good we can but not be drawn into any kind of movement

that might turn out to be a whole lot political in nature.
