School Routines

 The school day starts at 8.55am and ends at 3.30pm for all pupils.

 Children and parents wait on the school yard until the bell rings. Then the children line up in class lines
and are taken into school by the class teacher.

 Lunchtime starts at 12 noon until 1pm for KS2 children and 1.15pm for Reception and KS1 children.
All of our children stay in school at lunchtime irrespective of whether they are eating a school dinner or
bringing a packed lunch.

 PE Kits are to be kept in school all week whilst reading folders will come and go home during the week.
Your child will be told what day they need to bring book bags in, this information will also be on the
school website.

 Children need to bring a filled water bottle to school each Monday. This will stay in school all week
and be brought home on the Friday.

 Each term the class’s new topic / theme will be posted in the class page of the school website. This will
give you lots of information about what the children will be expected to learn in English, Maths and
across the curriculum.

 Additional forms for Leave of Absence, school dinners etc. can be found in The Parents’ Folder on the
table in school reception area. Please help yourself to these when you need them.
