f. Student Publication/Yearbook - refers to the official publication/organ/journal/yearbook and suchother student-
orientedprint andnon-print mediaof theuniversity and/or college.
3. InstitutionalStudentPrograms andServices
Theseareprogramsandactivities offered bythe university tofacilitate thedeliveryof essentialservices tothe
studentsthat includeadmission,scholarshipandfinancialassistance, food, healthandsecurity,housingandresidential
services,multi-faith,foreign/international students,servicesforstudentswithspecialneedsandotherprogramssuchas:
cultureandarts, sports, social andcommunity involvement.
a. AdmissionServices. These are services that take care of the processing of students’
entranceandrequirements.
b. Services for Students with Special Needs and Persons with Disabilities. These are programs andactivities
designed to provide equal opportunities to Persons With Disabilities, indigenous peoples, solo parents, etc.
(academicaccommodationforlearnerswithspecial needslikeleft handedstudentsmustbeprovidedwitharmchair
intheclassroomsuitedto their condition).
c. Library Services. The Library, being the repository of knowledge of the University, provides and supports the
instructional, research andcurricular needsof students.
d. HealthServices.Theuniversitymedicalanddentalservicesshallbeheadedbythe UniversityPhysicianwhoisin-
charge of thehealth needs of students and University personnelandstaff. TheUniversity Physician, together with
the Dentists and Nurses, shall conduct a medical-dental examination to all new students as a requirement for
admission. Medical and dental consultation and treatment may be availed of anytime during school days. First
dosageofmedicinesis givenfreeaslongasstocksareavailable.Dentalextractionand prophylaxisareincludedin
thedentalservices.
e. Multi-faith Services. Theuniversity provides anenvironment conducive to free expression
of one’s religious orientation in accordance with institutional principles andpolicies.
f. Student Housing and Residential Services. The University provides housing facilities which shall beequipped
and maintained at an affordable price. Separate dormitories for male and female occupants are managed by
dormitorymatronswhosuperviseaswellasextend counselingservicestoalldormitoryoccupants.Thisunit isalso
in-chargeof regular monitoring of privateboarding houses outsidethe campus.
g. Food Services. The University leases spaces for canteens or cafeterias which provide meals, snacks, school
supplies, andgroceryitems at reasonableprices. TheUniversity, throughthe MedicalUnit, monitorsthesanitation
andsafetyof thefoods served.
h. Sports and Socio-Cultural Services. The University acknowledges the need of students to become physically
