In order to comply with the requirements of the second amendment to 2002/72/EC , Artenius declares the
use of “dual-use” additive in its PET grades.

Testing carried out on typical materials under recommended conditions and with all food simulants
(according to EC Directives 82/711/EEC as amended by Directive 93/8/EEC and Directive 97/48/EEC,
Directive 85/572/EEC and Directive 2007/19/EC ), show that they meet the migrational limits required
by EU legislation.

Compliance with the migrational requirements of Commission Directive 2002/72/EC can only be
demonstrated by tests carried out on the final article.

All ArteniusPET grades must be further processed in order to make finished materials or articles.

These materials are recommended for use with all foodstuffs at room temperature and for storage up to 6
months at room temperature.

Artenius manufactures resins to good manufacturing practice (GMP) standards and is compliant with EU
Regulation (EC) 2023/2006.

The above named Artenius PET resins comply with the EU Packaging & Packaging waste Directive
(94/62/EC) and its amendment 2004/12/EC.For further information, please see the separate compliance
