well professors. Professors of the institute go to a great extend
in order to conduct research and also gain knowledge along the

way.

✓ Abeera Dutt Roy and C.Umayal, professors from the SELECT

department, published a paper titled ‘Implementation of a

Solar based Seven Level Asymmetrical Multilevel Inverter
Topology with Reduced Device Count’ in a renowned

international journal, ‘International Journal of Innovative

Technology and Exploring Engineering (IJITEE)’.

✓ Professors, K. Padmanathan, P. Sanjeevikumar, and R.Arul

conducted valuable research which bore fruitful results when
their paper, ‘Conceptual Framework of Antecedents to

Trends on Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generators for

Wind Energy Conversion Systems’ was published in the

international journal ‘Energies’.

✓ Esteemed professors of the university, B. Sri Revathi ,

Prabhakar Mahalingam, and Francisco Gonzalez- Longattb ,
combined forces to steer their research in the right direction.

Their effort were awarded when the work, ‘Interleaved high

gain DC-DC converter for integrating solar PV source to DC
bus’, was published in the international journal ‘Solar

Energy’.
