Release Your Leadership Potential
Ø Leaders have bifocal vision. They focus on the ultimate objective while envisioning the steps to achieve it
Ø Leaders question the status quo, embrace change and stimulate innovation
Ø Leaders rely on the strength of their inner conviction to do what is right and
are guided by core values and enduring principles to embrace change
Ø Leaders have clarity of purpose, follow up on intentions, act with integrity, and create an impact
To effectively lead self and others, leaders need to regularly heighten their self awareness, clarify their core values and focus their direction.
How often do you ask yourself the following types of questions:
s What is my purpose?
s What is unique about me?
s What impact do I have on others? How do others impact me?
s What are my goals – short term, long term - have I written them down? s What inspires me to achieve great accomplishments?
s What is stopping me today?
Use the Release Your Leadership Potential tool that follows to guide you through this self reflection. It will help increase self awareness, confirm your strengths, identify your motivators and articulate your goals. Since it requires thought and introspection, it is not intended to be completed quickly in one sitting. You may want to re-visit this tool each month to reflect, revise and clarify. Use this tool to focus your daily actions, achieve your desired results, and inspire others. It’s all part of the leadership journey!
