GREENVILLE, SC - ScanSource Communications, a leading global provider of communications products and a sales unit of ScanSource, Inc., [NASDAQ: SCSC], has announced the addition of VTech branded SIP desktop, conference phones and headsets, as well as Snom-branded SIP phones from VTech Communications, Inc., a global leader and manufacturer of SIP-based phones, to its line card in North America and Mexico.
With this partnership, ScanSource’s customers will gain access to uni ed communications solutions from both VTech®, and their recently acquired brand, Snom Technology GmbH.
As a result of this expanded product o ering, resellers will now be able to bene t from not only the expanded product portfolio, but the three-year advanced
part replacement (APR) warranties o ered by VTech. VTech and Snom also o er complimentary end-to-end U.S.-based support and services to help resellers meet the needs of their end customers.

HIGHLIGHTING WIFI SOLUTION
e showcase of the expanded Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise Mobile Campus solution family is the new Alcatel-Lucent OmniAccess Stellar WLAN family of products. Stellar access points use a controller-less architecture with distributed control intelligence providing more reliability, better scalability and reduced cost. It delivers a high-quality user experience leveraging the 802.11ac Wave 2 technology, for indoor and outdoor usage, with resiliency and security. Furthermore, it includes integrated guest management and built-in DPI which can be leveraged for smart analytics and to help better support IoT devices such as surveillance cameras, tra c lights and more.
OmniAccess Stellar is o ered in two modes:
l WiFi Express: Scales up to 64 APs and operates in a simpli ed cluster architecture, providing plug-and-play deployments and mostly used for SMBs.
l WiFi Enterprise: Used for networks with high scalability, it operates in a controller-less architecture but requires the OmniVista 2500 NMS to provide multiple advanced network services including comprehensive guest management, BYOD, IoT containment, Apple/ DLNA devices support and detailed analytics.
