Lunch is something different – Bacon & Sausage Gumbo. It’s alright, a bit spicy for me, but
okay, not as good as chowder, but at least it has veggies. Speaking of which, I remember I have
some raw veggies in the fridge – cauliflower, carrots and broccoli – I need to do something with
               them before they expire….

After lunch, I retreat to the dining room and watch six episodes of ‘Succession” on HBO. Now,
I’ve seen this series before and I liked it despite of the fact that the dialogue is crap, even though
it is probably the most lifelike and accurate portrayal of the life of one of the world’s most hated
and, strangely, admired media families ever… the Murdocks, and, bwai, the offspring are weird
               people…whoa, what’s that….

Just heard a crash…car crash. Rushed to the bedroom window to see a blue sedan car doing a

fast turn and shooting off down 6 street the wrong way. Its rear driver side tail lights are
smashed, and there’s a police truck tearing after it. It’s after curfew, so whatever the driver did
before the crash, they’ve certain broke the law now. People out on their balconies watching, and
while we’re watching this scene, there’s another police truck just a little further up the road in the
opposite direction outside our local pharmacy with two guys trying to break down the front steel
shutter. No idea what’s going on there, but they are making a lot of noise trying to get in. I guess,
                                                                    th
the first car intended to turn left and proceed up 6 street towards Thomas Street while be
pursued, but saw the stationary cop car and decided to turn right going the wrong way instead.
Maybe we’ll find out what that was all about on the local news tomorrow.

A little more TV, then lights out.
