Day Twelve

                                                Monday, April 20 , 2020
                                                                    th

               6.30am:
Got up early, lots to do.

               First, obviously, coffee.
Second, more laundry – two more towels, a t shirt and some undies.
Third, get truck and proceed to the office to try catch up on emails and make contact with the
Boss to find out about pay.

Got to the office and checked emails, well, checked news first: Virgin Atlantic is about to go
bust unless British Government gives it a bailout similar to the one it gave Easyjet under the
some circumstances. Branson isn’t convinced he’ll get any help from the Johnson
Administration, because he’s not a supporter of the Tory party and sadly, that’s what counts
when you need help these days. Branson’s other airline business – Virgin Australia – is also in
trouble, but Australia, Singapore, Qatar and China are all involved in that airline, so funding
mightn’t be so difficult to secure. I hope Branson gets the help he needs for Virgin Atlantic.
He’s a good guy and his various businesses have helped ensure that regular people get value for
money in a number of different industries, including airlines, vacations and banking.

Canada has suffered its worst ever mass shooting apparently. In Nova Scotia, sixteen people
were killed in a seemingly random drive-by shooting, including the shooter. That’s sad. On top
of everything else families are coping with, a madman goes off shooting people. I feel for those
families, and the authorities who have now to deal with this mess.

I close the BBC News website and check my emails. There are none of any consequence, so I
delete one hundred and sixty four, and twenty two useless, stupid, pathetic, sick junk emails too.
There’s even one from some stupid woman who starts her emails with “I know what your
password is, so if you don’t respond to this email, I will release some dirty pictures of you
masturbating in front of your PC and all those sick little conversations you’ve had with sex
lines”. This makes me laugh so loud, I think the security guard outside my office heard me.
What’s so funny is that first, there’s absolutely no way she could or would EVER get pictures of
me in such a compromising situation. None. I have never done anything like that in front of a
PC, and furthermore, none of the PCs I use have cameras. Second, while I might have been
curious about sex websites, I have never been so stupid to access them or log into such sites that
require a password on a PC. So this scam is all so such stupidity and nonsense. I delete it.

Problem is, and this is both funny and depressing, people actually FALL for these scams and
hand over credit card details, passwords and other personal stuff. So stupid. People got think
