Some good news – the number of cases and deaths from COVID-19 has remained unchanged for
the last six days, even with an increase in testing, so that might mean the lockdown can be eased

sooner. Right now, the Government is telling us the lockdown will end on May 2 , but if the
numbers stay unchanged maybe, just maybe, they’ll end it sooner or relax the lockdown to allow
people go back to work.

Around the world, it seems cases are levelling off, and some countries are easing restrictions to
get their economies restarted – although some, like Trump’s America – are going ahead and
allowing people to move about freely without testing to see if they have the disease under
control, and that’s just bonkers!
