            FRENCH: EXPLORING A NEW LANGUAGE


                                                               French is reputed to be a well-known
                                                               language abundantly used in international
                                                               communications. French has gained popularity
                                                               amongst students of the primary phase
                                                               with many students opting it as their
                                                               second language from Year 2. Active class
                                                               participation, engaging activities, interactive
                                                               and enhanced learning have resulted in
                                                               strong language proficiency. Students are
                                                               encouraged to converse in French to
                                                               ensure that their second language
                                                               becomes an integral part of their
                                                               learning experience.



                                                                                                           THE ANNUAL TECHNO TALENT FEST


                                                               To exhibit and demonstrate their knowledge
                                                               about digital literacy, students from DGPS
                                                               attended The Annual Techno Talent Fest in
                                                               January, at the Emirates Institute for Banking
                                                               and  Financial Studies in Academic City. The
                                                               festival was a good opportunity for students
                                                               to enhance their technical prowess and develop
                                                               a deeper understanding of programming.
                                                               Thirty one students of the primary and
                                                               secondary sections showcased their talents
                                                               in computing and creativity, winning several
                                                               awards in various categories. They made
                                                               Dubai Gem proud by securing the Overall
                                                               Runners Up position.
