INCLUSION

INCLUSION AT DUBAI GEM

Inclusion is a way of thinking, a way of being, and a way of making
decisions about helping everyone belong. It is about transforming those
systems and structures to make it better for everyone.

Dubai Gem believes in ensuring every learner deserves equity rather than
equality.

Students with additional needs get all the support to enable them to
access every aspect of the curriculum, participate in all aspects of learning
and interact with each other. They are provided need-based individual support
by teachers and the Inclusion Team.

Students participate in Class Assemblies, Sports Day, National Day,
Character Parade and Science Project to name a few.

INCLUSION SPORTS AND CREATIVITY DAY

The Winchester School, Oud Metha had organised an
‘Inclusion and Creativity day’ in November 2019. Some of
our students participated in this event. The concept, All are
winners was much appreciated. All our participating
students were thrilled and felt victorious winning Gold
medals. A huge thank you to all the participants! It was a
fantastic day and we couldn’t have asked for better
weather! The children showed fantastic sportsmanship skills.
We are so proud of them all. Well done students!

A huge shout out to the Inclusion team and our student
volunteers who demonstrated brilliant leadership skills in
their roles on the day.
