MESSAGE FROM THE
NURSERY PRINCIPAL MS CLEMY FERNANDES
D
ear Children, Parents, Staff and Colleagues,
2019 - 2020 has been a ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ year for me and I can say for the most of us. We have
learned a great deal together and shared experiences that we will remember forever! Despite the
sudden change in the education landscape due to COVID-19, I can with much conviction and a
sense of satisfaction celebrate our achievements for this academic year.
The characters of our success story:
Our Children
They have made DGPN special. Their energy, curiosity and enthusiasm for learning kept us on our
toes! All our children have taken significant strides in their progress. I am certain they are eager to
step into the new academic year with confidence and zeal.
Our Staff
Our Teachers and Staff have displayed abilities to adapt, transform and elevate their professional
practice. Despite the challenges, they have afforded our children with very rich, well-rounded learning opportunities that met the diverse range of
our learners’ needs. I feel proud to have worked with some of the most hardworking, diligent and conscientious educators. I am hopeful they will
continue to deliver high quality teaching and learning opportunities to raise the achievements of their students despite any challenges that may
confront them.
Our Parents and Families
I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude towards DGPN families for their contribution in small, big and sometimes in
unimaginable ways. Your participation in events, celebrations and workshops, and providing us with continuous feedback for improvements was
tremendous motivation. I thank you for your confidence to entrust your child’s education with us. This kind of partnership makes an Early Years
establishment a success.
Class Representatives
I would like to make a special mention of our Class Representatives Team whose dedicated involvement and assistance cannot be expressed
enough. Their consistent collaboration enabled us to deliver a high quality e-learning programme.
Personally, I will always remember this year as a very unique experience and I would like to conclude by wishing everyone the very best for the
future.
