As you take a moment to reflect on some of the key points of the past

few chapters, ask yourself the following questions. Feel free to write
down your answers:

1. If you have somehow gotten off on the wrong foot with your
Executive, what steps can you take now to win them over?

2. Think about something you’d like to ask your Executive for (e.g., a

promotion, raise, attend a conference, etc.). How can you phrase the

request in an “If A then B” format?

3. Thinking about the chapter on “Managing a Brilliant C-Suite,” what
