At the moment I know the team are
reviewing the day services to make sure
that they are absolutely meeting the

needs of all patients. As part of this, the
service will be developed to support not
1,605 just the patient, but also those closest

to them. This means that people like
Day Hospice patient sessions me and the 114 others who used the Day
delivered last year
Hospice in the past year can access
more services at the Hospice and in the
community.

I’m a big fan of the Day Hospice and I really like the staff, 8,025

volunteers and all the other patients too. As well as being a
place where I get to see a member of the care team, it’s a lot
of fun, with quizzes, music, entertainers, animals (even a Day Hospice hours
little horse!) arts & crafts (I made a birthday card for my of care provided
