                                                                       PROJECT DETAILS

         Th  e Maimonides Medical Center Major Modernization Project consists      •  Expansion of the Emergency Department
         of the construction of a nine (9) story addition to the present Aaron
                                                                          •  Expansion of Neo-Natal ICU
         Building. Th  e new building also connects to the existing Gellman
         Building.  A new elevator and utility core serves all three (3) buildings.     •  Replacement of Medical/Surgical beds

                                                                          •   Increase in the number of Operating Rooms and
         Renovation of the existing Aaron building was done with the new
                                                                           replacement of existing Operating Rooms
         construction.
                                                                          •  Replacement of Medical ICU beds
         In addition, the new Ambulatory Surgery facility was built in the
         Garage Basement across from the new addition on 48th Street.  A two
         (2) story bridge connects this facility to the new building as a direct
         connection between in-patient and Ambulatory Surgery.  New elevators
         were constructed in the Garage to complement this connection.
