More importantly subcontractors and vendors will recognize that they are on
specifi c for this project. a job that holds quality in high regard. Finally, all accepted fi nish work will
be protected as it is placed, to ensure the highest quality when the project is
turned over to Trinitas Regional Medical Center.
During Close-out
Th e properly planned and executed job-specifi c QA/QC program will include
close-out procedures for the entire project team. Proper monitoring and rejection
of non-conforming work will pay dividends at close-out when punchlists are
substantially reduced and when commissioning of MEP systems is ongoing.
Upon project turnover, the owner’s operations staff will be properly trained and
prepared to operate the new facility. All documents used during construction,
such as checklists completed by the owner, architect and Barr & Barr team will
help to ensure the timely receipt of the Certifi cate of Occupancy.
