Senior Airport Planner
Kelly is a Senior Airport Planner for the Sacramento County Department of Airports. She leads all planning, land use, and FAA compliance efforts for Sacramento International, Mather, Executive and Franklin Field Airports. Additionally, she serves as project manager for several complex planning and construction projects. Kelly received her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Material Science Engineering from the University of California at Davis. She is a Certified Member of AAAE, a member of the ACI Environmental Affairs Committee Steering Group, and chairs Land Use Working Group.

Chad serves as Senior Vice President at McFarland Johnson (MJ), a consultancy providing financial and aviation planning, environmental, engineering, and construction inspection services for both private and public projects, large and small. Chad brings tremendous energy to the company and is consistently sought out for his innovative problem solving skills. He leads the strategic growth of MJ’s aviation market sector and provides oversight relative to new services, growth opportunities, and industry trends.

Assistant Airport Planner
Ryan is the Assistant Airport Planner for the Sacramento County Airport System. He began his role after completing his master’s degree in City and Regional Planning with a focus on Airport Planning at The Ohio State University. Ryan now works for the Planning and Environment division of Sacramento County’s Department of Airports. His main responsibilities include internal project management process refinement, preliminary oversight of a way-finding study at the Sacramento International Airport, working with internal partner divisions on the planning and design of a new airport fire station, and interaction with consultants. Additionally, he assists with ALP updates and the ongoing update of the Land Use Compatibility Plan for Mather Airport.

Over the last 3 years as the Design for Digital Product Owner at a global 150,000 person consulting firm, Diana has been advising VCs, Start-ups, and Enterprises on how they can leverage design thinking and design sprints as methodologies which will accelerate and amplify their overall customer experience. Her global clients include Microsoft, Apple, Cisco, Sprint, Deutsche Telecom, Eversource, Adient, Recaro, and Madison Reed.
