Data Protection in times of Business Disruption: Ensuring Business Continuity
In today’s highly digitised environment, when it comes to valuable data – currently described as the lifeblood of an organisation – IT leaders have the critical role of securing the overall IT infrastructure of their businesses. Their responsibilities include guaranteeing employees’ safety, protecting data centres, company’s endpoint devices and clouds and, of course, ensuring that ransomware attacks do not further compound the already disrupted work environment.
As we see an increase in a distributed workforce model, IT professionals must make sure their infrastructure and more importantly, their data, remains protected and can be managed effectively to ensure business continuity. Whether it be internal or external threats, from user error through to ransomware attacks, ensuring exposure to these vulnerabilities is key.
