   Construction Update
With all of the trees in both courtyards uprooted and construction workers painting the grass, you might be wondering what is happening to our campus.
You may have noticed that, whenever it rains, massive amounts of water spurt out of the gutters of buildings two, three, and four. Up until recently, all that water has been flowing through the school drainage pipes, which are located underground. Unfortunately,
these drainage pipes have begun to collapse. Replacing the school’s drainage system will require digging equipment and other construction materials throughout the project, and the task may take months to complete. This problem is worsened by the fact that most of the work will have to be done when students
are not on campus.
In order to keep students safe, fences have
been erected to close off the construction sites, and the entrance to the parking lot between buildings two and six has been closed so it can be used as a construction entrance.
While this may seem inconvenient and many were sad to see the trees and other foliage between buildings two, three, and four cut down, it is a necessary part of keeping our school safe and beautiful.
