OPERATIONS ISSUE
(HVAC DOWN)
The air conditioning at [NAME OF SCHOOL] was down this morning due
to a broken part, which was repaired as quickly as possible. Temperatures started to come down early afternoon, before dismissal. While it was an uncomfortable day for students, teachers and staff, at
no time was there any threat to their safety or well-being. The district is working closely with school administration to actively address and resolve the
issues with the A/C. We appreciate
your understanding and patience.

HVAC Broken/Repair Not Immediate – Follow Up Statement
Although maintenance has identified the issue with our HVAC, the system remains down. At this time, we do not know when it will be back up and running. While there is no air conditioning, we are con- tinuing normal school operations. It will undoubtedly be an uncomfortable day for students, but teachers are encouraging them to hydrate and keeping a close eye out for overexertion or overheating. At this time, we are not asking you to pick up your child. We will continue to monitor the situation and notify you of any up- dates or changes to this plan.
