I want to address circulating rumors regarding a possible threat to [NAME OF SCHOOL]. School administration has contacted [LAW ENFORCEMENT] and district security as a precaution, to investigate an unsubstantiated threat made on social media. Law enforcement thoroughly examined the threat and it was deemed unfounded. All students and staff are safe and school operations are normal.
As always, I want to reassure you that your child’s safety is our top priority.
We will continue to work with our local law enforcement agencies to ensure the safety and security of our school and to resolve such situations. We encourage our parents/family members to speak with their children about the importance of NOT circulating unconfirmed social media threads, posts or snaps to help resolve such unsupported threats.
