With gratitude from God, as a member of the medical profession I pledge to always treat my patients with respect.
The health and safety of my patient will be of highest importance, avoiding any harm.
I thank all my professors who have given me the knowledge I need to help others and will spread my knowledge to the physicians who come after me.
I promise to use the skills and knowledge I have obtained through my training to provide the best care for my patients.
I will do my best to create an environment where my patients feel safe and able to express their concerns freely without fear of judgment.
I will respect my patient’s autonomy and provide them the information they need to make informed decisions about their health care.
I will maintain the information discussed between my patient and I confidential.
I will not discriminate against those I provide services to and will treat them equally regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation among other factors.
I will do everything I can to advocate for my patients so that they have access to health care.
I ultimately promise to treat human life with the upmost respect from conception to natural death. I take this oath freely and humbly.
