P. 74

 Dan Tran
I solemnly swear to dedicate all of my life to the health of humanity,
I shall place my patients’ best interests principle and above all else,
I shall work ceaselessly for the betterment of the quality of life of others,
May I never break the sacred bond of trust and confidentiality between myself and my patients,
May I always respect the unalienable right of my patients’ autonomy as fellow human beings,
May I recognize my own limitations of practice and seek help from my colleagues for the best possible care as per my patients’ needs,
Allow me to care for my patient with utmost compassion through any diagnosis, condition, disease, illness, or even through the end of life,
Allow me to always practice mindfulness and give the best of myself to my patients’ concerns,
Allow me to pass on my knowledge to future members of the medical profession for the continuation of the highest medical ethics, education, and practice,
Allow me to remain conscious and aware of my own health, in order to have the ability and the strength to serve my patients with the highest standard,
Never shall I abuse my knowledge, my privilege, my scope of practice, or my power to harm another human being,
All this I do faithfully swear upon with my highest honor, dignity, and self.
