Samantha wins Jack Ovenden
Award 2018
T he winner of the AA sponsored Jack Oven- Image – Duncan, Samantha and Mark
den Award for ‘Outstanding Student of the
Year’ 2018 is Samantha Charles of High-
field Garage and Recovery, Exeter. BOOK THIS SPACE

Congratulations must also go to the other candidates,
all of whom proved to be well deserved finalists in this
prestigious recovery industry award. They were Dar-
ren Ferguson of GT Recovery, Meath, Ireland, Emma
Buckley of the Mansfield Group, Michael Harden of
iRescue24 and Paul Grainger of Furness Cars and
Commercials, Cumbria.
This annual award is given to the student who is con-
sidered to have not only excelled in training but also
is believed to be good ambassador and potential role
model for those looking to enter the industry. The IVR
would like to once again thank the Rescue and Re-
covery Trainer’s Association (RRTA) who administer
the award on behalf of the Institute and the AA for its
ongoing support.
