        all odds, and the authenticity and customization are just a handful of the main drivers of consumers in the US


        that beautifully match the story Peruvian single-origin coffee has to tell.




               1.  “GREEN,” BEANS, AND THE ENVIRONMENT

            Organizations such as “The Rainforest Alliance” have had a continued hand in the impact of sustainability


        on coffee farms in Peru. Biodiversity and natural resource conservation, pesticide management policy, and

        more ethical issues such as improved livelihoods of farmers and employees and effective management


        systems, are part of the alliance’s

        priorities (“Farm Certification,”

        2019). With certifications from


        Rainforest Alliance as well as

        UTZ, Peruvian coffee farms stand


        as one of the top producers of

        certified organic coffee in the
