Reconstruction

• Is the replacement of full, including sub-grade or part of the pavement using fresh
material & new pavement construction specification.

• The deterioration can be determine by inspection and confirmed with in-situ testing.
• In board term, failure manifestations for reconstruction are:

 Severe shoving
 > 20mm rutting

 Crocodile cracking with depression
 Severe potholes.
