Please find attached a pdf of our Buildings Insurance for 2015 for those lessees who usually request a copy.
You will note the premium of £1864.38 being the same as last year fortunately.
Fortuitous indeed that we will no longer be proceeding with the third colour (cost approx £1875 as advised) requested by Flat 9 in August, and supposedly agreed to by other lessees, due to funding shortages as well documented.
The monies saved have been used to pay the Insurance premium as attached notification evidences.
The replacement Water Storage Tank will commence on Monday 29th September at 8.30am when tank water will be interrupted for approx one to two hours to all flats whilst a temporary connection is established for approximately 4 days.
As previously indicated, the cost of these unexpected works will also be paid from Reserves.
Consequently, in the absence of requested funding nor acknowledgement of intentions despite two requests, Management are proceeding with the following re-scheduling reductions and savings, none of which we regret can be reversed once made as this affair is far too time consuming on Management to re-arrange and confusing for lessees to again re- schedule.
1_no Communal TV installation
2_Reducing the interior painting from three to a single colour, trade white. 3_no Specialist terrazzo floor renovation.
4_no Front Door renovation/stripping & new door furniture/bell push etc
5_Cheques for £2000 from Reserves are to be issued to those lessees who to date have paid their Quarterly demands in full.
Management confidently calculate that Reserves will, after the above reductions, be
