Our Evolution
From a startup business based in a garage to a multimillion dollar enterprise, OmniSite’s product history has proven that it takes several rounds
to perfect any one product – and sometimes you have to fail in order to achieve. What follows is a brief timeline of the production history of OmniSite’s agship products.
With the start of Logical Concepts in 1999, Tom Ward created secure electronic systems integration projects for local companies' monitoring capabilities.
After a couple years, he was able to gain the revenue to create a small team of professionals to assist in the creation of his goal products.

In May 2001 Aeris Communications gave OmniSite $5,000 to help the company grow. At that time, OmniSite was one of the early adopters of the Aeris MicroBurst technology, which powered its
cellular devices.
Back then, Aeris pioneered the use of the cellular analog control channel as a way to send small “bursts” of data for industrial monitoring and telemetry applications. This allowed much growth for OmniSite’s product line.
First o , in April 2001, OmniSite created it's rst radio based product which then in turn made way for its rst cellular device, the XR50.
The XR50 was a 10-channel alarm monitor – and after a few revisions still proves to be one of OmniSite’s most successful products.
