After seeing the success and need of the XR50, the Crystal Ball was created. The Crystal Ball was another cellular device that monitored both digital and analog sensor signals.
It was intended to be the “Big Brother” to the XR50, providing many more pump-control features.
November 2004 brought in The Viper. This product was created as a stepped-down version of the XR50 that sold at a lower price point and was a more a ordable alternative for customers needing to replace their
analog XR50 to better communi- cate with cellular network upgrades. Although still in use in the eld, The Viper has since been discontinued.
In 2012 the SmarteLight product was created, and after several upgrades has now turned into OmniSite’s
successful OmniBeaconTM product.
In January, 2013 the new entity PumpAlarm.com was launched to sell a cellular
residential sump pump alarm.
This is OmniSite's rst residential product but will be discontinued at some point to make way for their most recent revolutionary product – the DriBot, which not only prevents water leaks, it can shut o the water remotely and perform many other automated functions.
Although still in its experimental stages, the DriBot is expected to pave a new road for OmniSite’s future.
The following pages show the timeline of these products.
